Images are everywhere, and they influence us in powerful ways. Just seeing an image can take us to a whole new world. They can make us travel back in time to a memory, or inspire us to do incredible things.

Teach Me to Fish is one of my favorite mental images. This image motivates me to be teachable and humble on my journey. It comes from a story or proverb that my dad has continually taught me over the years. The proverb goes, “You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, or you can teach a man to fish and feed him for a life-time.”

I want to be teachable so that I can use new information and my experiences to help others on their journeys. More than anything, I want to understand the world that God has created and to become more and more like Him as I seek to live my life as if He were living it.

I will post information about what is going on in my life, as well as things that I am learning and trying to figure out on my journey toward Christian Maturity.

The site is an expression of what is going on in my brain. I hope that through this site, I will be able to make more sense of my thoughts and this world. I also hope that maybe the thoughts here will serve as a spring board to help you on your journey of learning and maturity.
